A warm welcome awaits you when you dine at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa. With two restaurants and a lounge bar and terrace you have plenty of dining options at this country house hotel. Moor Hall was originally built in the 1500s by Bishop Vesey who regularly entertained royalty here. Over the years it changed hands and rebuilt many times until the current hall was built in the early 1900s by Colonel Edward Ansell. You can see many of the original design features including wood carving, stained class windows, ornate ceilings and stonework in The Oak Room restaurant and Lounge Bar. For light snacks and casual dining choose the 1905 Bar with its menu featuring burgers, salads, tapas, pizzas and sandwiches. The Oak Room Brasserie is open every evening from 6pm and features a seasonal and locally sourced menu. For hearty comfort food head to The Country Kitchen, open Friday and Saturday evenings, for a great value three course carvery dinner. Afternoon Tea is also served daily from 1pm with cakes and scones made in the hotel by the pastry chef. Whatever dining option you choose, you'll enjoy delicious dishes created by the passionate and talented chefs.
