WEST YORKSHIRE HOTEL JOINS GLOBAL HOTEL BRAND TO DRIVE TOURISM
Best Western Great Britain has announced the arrival of The New Hobbit Hotel, BW Signature Collection, to its growing portfolio of over 250 independent hotels. Featuring stunning views of the Calder Valley, this hotel is located just half a mile from Sowerby Bridge Railway Station, with direct links to Leeds and Manchester.
The boutique 30-bedroom hotel has a rich history and has grown from a pub in the 1900’s to a beautiful hotel offering vintage and new, modern rooms. The traditional Yorkshire stone property offers rooms that include a flat-screen TV and handcrafted solid ash furniture. In the restaurant, there is a homely log burner and a delicious farmhouse grill menu on offer, which serves freshly prepared, locally sourced produce. The hotel also features an award-winning licenced wedding venue, ideal for guests looking to celebrate their special day.
