Best Western hotels in Leeds, Doncaster and York win prestigious industry awards

Local hotels were big winners at the prestigious Best Western Awards, supported by Taittinger. Hosted by BBC’s Nigel Barden, the awards celebrated the largest collection of independent hotels in Great Britain.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday 24th January at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales.

Amongst the winners were the Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster, the Best Western Plus Milford Hotel in Leeds and The Dean Court Hotel, BW Premier Collection in York.

Also winning an award was Karen Dawson, from Best Western’s Head Office in York who won ‘Staff Member of the Year’ award, sponsored by Perkbox.

The Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel was awarded the ‘Hotel of the Year’ award in the medium category, sponsored by Mitre Linen.
